In our society, we are constantly confronted with a myriad of challenges. Throughout the turbulent year of 2023, we observed widespread warfare, gun violence, discrimination, and numerous other troubles, both on an international and local level. SBU remains unwavering in its dedication to nurturing friendliness, compassion, mindfulness, and insight while fostering a harmonious Buddhist educational community.

Our Buddhist education aims to awaken all learners to contribute to the healing of communities and nations, where each student can thrive. On behalf of SBU, I deeply appreciate the faculty, staff, and students for their invaluable contributions of bright insights and knowledge to the development and daily growth of SBU. I extend special gratitude to our donors and supporters for entrusting us with their support in furthering our mission and initiatives.
